RELIGIOUS STUDIES
'CHALLENGE DAY'
On Wednesday March 20th 2002 a team of four Year 10 Religious Studies GCSE        students from the Knights Templar School took part in the first Hertfordshire County Council Religious Studies 'Challenge Day.'

Organised by Mr Stephen Lavender, the County Adviser for Religious Education, the day was hosted by the Meridian School in Royston and was designed to challenge and support in their studies gifted and talented Year 10 students of Religious        Studies in the North Herts area. Teams from ten North Herts schools were        involved.

The team from the Knights Templar School consisted of Georgia Roberts, Sonia Hussain, Craig Maddox and Robert Paice. They found themselves involved in various activities including being addressed by a number of speakers on the topic of 'God.' The artwork produced by Georgia during the day was used by the County on their website while the team went on to gain 'Winning Team' certificates, which were presented by Mr Lavender.

Well done to our four 'gifted and talented' RE students.
