Nothing new there, you might say. But on this occasion he was actually invited to speak. On Sunday March 24 2002 Mr Christodoulou gave an address to an invited audience at the John Henry Newman School in Stevenage. As a representative of the local Christian community, he talked for about ten minutes on the subject of 'Bloodshed in the Name of Religion.'

Other representative speakers spoke on behalf of the Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish and Muslim faiths, while the people of Stevenage were represented by Mrs Babara Follett, MP for Stevenage, and Councillor Hugh Tessier, the Mayor of Stevenage, and the Lady Mayoress.
